ServSafe® is a program of the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. The Manager Certification course is a 1-day immersion course, offering basic food safety concepts and an opportunity to take the certification exam. This program has a certification exam; passage of the exam meets the restaurant training requirement in Colorado.

ServSafe® Serving Safe Food Management Certification: • Teaches managers basic food safety concepts • Helps managers and employees protect against food borne illness outbreaks • Helps reduce liability risks • Helps minimize insurance costs • Enables participants to demonstrate a commitment to food safety • Qualifies certified candidates to participate in the International Food Safety Council
Registration closes August 16th. You will be mailed a hardcopy of the course book to study prior to the training. The training will act as a refresher prior to the exam.
About the Presenter
Mario Seminara (R.S.) has 30+ years in Retail Food Safety. He formed Food Safety Works LLC, currently working as consultant/contractor for professional national associations, a private food safety corporation and a Colorado Local Health Department. He maintains his R.S. credential and has numerous State and National certifications in food safety. Mario is a qualified ServSafe instructor/proctor and is PCQI and HACCP certified.
