What is CEHA?CEHA was established in 1947 as the Rocky Mountain Section of the National Association of Sanitarians and enjoys an outstanding reputation statewide as an innovative, progressive organization dedicated to advancing the cause of general, professional or technical environmental health. The Colorado Environmental Health Association is tax-exempt under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations are tax deductible. |
CEHA offers educational seminars throughout the year to keep you informed on current issues in the profession. Seminars feature local and national speakers. The Association coordinates an annual educational conference designed to update membership on current trends in environmental health and to provide personal enrichment. Through CEHA you have the opportunity to meet other environmental health professionals from across the state. Scholarship opportunities funded by CEHA are available for students attending Colorado State University and studying environmental health.
CEHA is open to anyone employed in an environmental health position; student working toward a degree in environmental health (associate membership); and corporation, business or associations with an interest in environmental health.
Membership Categories
ACTIVE – $35: Any person who is employed in any environmental health field, any registered environmental health specialist, or any individual with a general interest in the objectives of CEHA is eligible to become an active member.
STUDENT – $15: Any full-time college or university student working toward a degree with an interest in the association and its objectives is eligible for student membership.
LIFE – $350: An active member for at least on year is eligible for life membership. A life member is entitled to all the rights of membership for life without paying further dues. A life membership will receive a certificate recognizing their life membership.
RETIRED – $0: Any person who has been an active member or CEHA for five or more consecutive years, and who has retired is eligible for retired membership.
FOR-PROFIT SUSTAINING – $315: Any business, company, corporation or association of such firms with a general interest in CEHA and its objectives, and which has a desire to contribute to its success shall be eligible for sustaining membership.
NON-PROFIT SUSTAINING – $105-$1,500: Dues depends on the number of environmental health employees and includes a certain number of individual memberships. Click here to see the flyer and the tiered dues structure.
Please consider making a contribution to the scholarship fund when registering for membership! These funds are used to support a variety of scholarship requests for both students and your peers to attend local, regional, or national educational programs.
