This OSHA HAZWOPER 8 hour refresher course has been tailored for individuals who work as Environmental Health Specialists (EHS), or a similar position, and conduct inspections at varying types of facilities as part of their job for a government agency. The course will meet all requirements and cover all required topics set by OSHA in their HAZWOPER standard 29 CFR 1910.120.

The class is being taught by Andrew Troccoli, owner and founder of Anfeald, LLC

Andy Troccoli is the founder, president, and a principal at Anfeald LLC. Anfeald is a full-service occupational safety and health services firm located in Northern Colorado. Anfeald provides professional services, including workplace safety, industrial hygiene, training, OSHA-based medical surveillance, and OSHA inspection services to clients in general industry, construction, oil and gas, and federal and local government. This 8-hour refresher course meets OSHA annual training requirements. Topics covered will include:

HAZWOPER regulation and its requirements
Hazard communication, including pictograms, safety data sheets, and related
Chemical classes and associated hazards
Hazard controls, PPE use and storage, and safe work practices
Respiratory protection
Medical surveillance requirements, including recognition of signs and symptoms which might indicate overexposure to a hazard
Common site safety hazards, and more.

Theme

This is our first ever Mega-AEC that involves three organizations with a shared vison for the betterment of environmental health. This is why our theme for our Mega AEC is: Better Together.

Our banquet theme will be Keep on Groovin' (70s/Disco) with a costume contest! Bell bottoms, maxi dresses, and platform shoes, Oh My! Let's get funky!

Dress

There is no dress code for this conference, but most people wear business casual to everything except the banquet (we encourage dressing to the theme here - feel free to get funky!).
